Wesley's Garden

Our stake here in Queen Creek has been focusing on preparedness with a different specific goal each month. September's goal was planting gardens.

So Wesley and I spent a couple of days out in 100 degree weather digging and planting our little 4 x 4 garden.

It's all done now, and we have peas, beans, peppers, tomatoes, carrots, kohlrabi, and turnips. Now we just have to wait and see if anything grows:)

That's a lot of variety in a little space. Efficiency at it's best for sure. Ug...100 degrees. Kohlrabi, huh? Was it you that enjoyed it from the garden Geoff and I planted. We're not really fans. :) Maybe we just don't know how to cook it?
